Our Club

Blending a broad range of experience and expertise, Fremantle Camera Club gives members the opportunity to develop their photographic skills in a warm inviting environment.

Members

No matter what your level of previous experience, we always welcome new members.  Active members are able to participate in our monthly club competitions.

Meetings

We meet every first and third Tuesday evening from 7.30 pm, February to December*. The club holds an educational evening on the first Tuesday and the club’s competition (exhibition) evening on the third Tuesday.

* December first Tuesday only.

Monthly presentations are mostly given by visiting expert photographers and sometimes by internal club members with a special area of interest. They usually include a projected presentation, open discussion and sometimes practical hands-on workshop sessions.

Exhibition nights are a more serious affair with an external judge visiting us from another camera club to assess the four categories of images: Digital Open Print Open, Digital Subjet and Print subject.

Special events

Special events  such as photo walks, short outings, activities and weekend field trips are organised throughout the year.   We also arrange regular social events to provide an opportunity to talk all things photography over a drink or meal.
