About the Judge

The guest Judge for this month is Craig Franke.  Craig is a wildlife photographer who can often be found exploring bushland and wilderness in search of subjects to photograph.  He is also a photography judge who has judged at numerous photography group and camera club competitions.  He runs macro photography workshops and 1-on-1 wildlife photography workshops at Venture Photography Workshops.  In macro photography, Craig specialises in the photography of insects, arachnids, birds and wildlife.

Macro - Inorganic: An image which displays detail not usually observable by the human eye of an inorganic object. Inorganic materials are generally derived fron non-living sources, such as rocks or minerals, concrete, rust, metals, glass, ceramics etc.
